After carrying out some research, theyve made connections between employee happiness and business outcomes. Their findings may interest you- it looks like happiness doesnt directly tie to business outcomes. The same cant be said for employee engagement however. Gallup did find stronger ties between employee engagement and business outcomes. So if youre looking for a way to empower your employees and increase profitability, thats likely the best avenue.
